Who We Are
Lucy is from China and Alissa comes from Vietnam. When Lucy worked at Alissa’s café during the pandemic time, we had lots talk about our migrant experience, family, life in our homeland, of course our dreams before and after migrant.
We found that even though have lived in New Zealand for couple of years, we still can’t say that we know this country 100%, which led us thinking of the other side, we found most of western people have varies interest curiosity on Asia, the ancient empire history, colonial decades, picturesque landscape, ruins and relics, mysterious oriental phylosiphy and tradition, dynamic culture, tasty food, fast growing economy, etc.
